MNSHS faculty member gyrates on the floor with Cebuano folk dance number

Minglanilla National Science High School faculty member Mrs. Helen L. Teo represented Minglanilla Districts I and II, Municipality of Minglanilla, in the Cebuano Folk Dance Seminar-Workshop held at the Capitol Social Hall, Cebu City, last March 26-30. Joined with her were MAPEH teachers from various public and private schools in Cebu City, Mandaue City and Cebu Province.

Folk Dance Seminar-Workshop was organized by the University of San Carlos-PE teachers and Dance Troupe, University of Cebu-PE teachers and Dance Troupe and the Sinulog Foundation.

During the culmination, representatives coming from the same municipalities and cities were grouped together and presented a spectacular folk dance number.

  1. Folk dance seminar workshop can preserve our cultural dances so that the next generation of students will also preserve it as a way of being a true Filipino.
