With intellect and wit, Mingscians were tested in the STEP competition Division Level held in San Remigio last September 23-25, 2010. Heralding from different parts of Cebu province, our STEP wizards battled in the tournament of minds and skills with regard to technology, entrepreneurship and ICT.
Reaching for success, our STEP contestants grabbed different places in their consequent categories. Carlo Galicia won 2nd place in the Techno-Quiz, Industrial Technology category while Agnes Auman won 3rd place in Electronic Book Keeping using Excel in ICT. Kahlil Caña won also 4th place in Electronic Poster Making using Adobe CS. Raziane Segismar banged other beauty queens to achieve the 2nd runner –up place in Ms. STEP Pageant. Robert Vencint Navales with dashing looks and poise was among those top 10 male candidates who were qualified for Mr. STEP competition.
With their victory in the contest, there were coaches behind them that witnessed their hard works and struggles as they came to an end of said competition. For the quiz category, the coaches were Mr. Dulosa and Mr. Luague while Ms. Tresa Cantutay was the coach for Mr. and Ms. STEP Competition.
The contestants did their great jobs in bringing home the bacon. For many years, MNSHS has been known for its STEP-champ from different contests; indeed, MNSHS , up to the present, deserves a thump of applause and a praise from the people not just around the campus but also from the people in different schools within Cebu Province Division.
